Elizabeth Borduas, CPA Auditor
Drummondville Office
Elizabeth Borduas joined the FBL team in 2013 as an intern and obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2015. Over the years, she has collaborated on various projects, gaining diverse experience in sectors such as construction, retail, and manufacturing. Her rigorous work and approachability are reflected daily in her work and in her relationships with clients and colleagues.
In addition to specializing in assurance, she possesses complementary skills in several other areas, including tax and advisory services. This makes her a well-rounded advisor for her clients. Her ability to build trusting relationships and proactively respond to each client’s needs reinforces her reputation as a dedicated team member.
Philip Dion, CPA Auditor
Farnham Office
Philip Dion holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Sherbrooke. Having earned his CPA auditor designation since 2012, he joined FBL in 2017 to further his career. Over the years, he has acquired expertise in a multitude of fields.
Attentive to his clients, Philip is constantly seeking solutions to guide SMEs in their projects. Dedicated to a job well done, he never hesitates to share his knowledge and rigorous work with his colleagues and the clients he supports.
Without hesitating to get involved with regional foundations and organizations, Philip has a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of non-profit organizations in his region.
Furthermore, he thrives on working closely with clients and key stakeholders in the business community.
Christine Gendron, CPA Auditor

Christine began her career in 2013 with a large firm. Her skills and determination were quickly recognized when she made the Honor Roll after successfully completing the 2016 CFE. She then consolidated her expertise by completing a master’s degree in accounting before joining FBL in 2017.
Specializing in assurance, she serves a diverse clientele, ranging from the manufacturing to construction, transportation, and services sectors, demonstrating her versatility and adaptability.
Christine is recognized by her peers for her rigorous work, dedication, and compassion. She embodies a proactive and passionate approach to her work, positioning herself as a caring and committed advisor. Her clients appreciate her ability to support them in various aspects of their business activities, providing undeniable added value.
Outside of her professional commitments, Christine has been actively involved since 2021 with the Let’s Bond association, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health. Her involvement demonstrates her commitment to the community and her desire to contribute positively beyond the business world.
Mathieu Parr, CPA Auditor, D. Fisc.
Brossard Office
Mathieu Parr, CPA Auditor since 2017, furthered his career by successfully completing a specialized graduate diploma in taxation at the University of Sherbrooke before joining FBL in 2021. His exceptional commitment to client service and professional work ethic define Mathieu’s distinctive style within the team.
As a strategic advisor at FBL, Mathieu specializes in supporting entrepreneurs in key transactions such as family succession, business transfers, purchase, sale, and merger transactions. His reputation for honesty, creativity, and perseverance precedes him, and he remains constantly attentive to his clients. In this way, he establishes essential relationships of trust to actively contribute to their success.
Marc-Olivier Sylvain, CPA Auditor
Terrebonne Office
Marc-Olivier Sylvain completed his BBA at HEC Montréal in 2013 before pursuing a specialized graduate diploma in public accounting. In 2014, he wrote and passed the CPA exam.
After spending the first five years of his career with a firm in Laval, he decided to join FBL in 2018 to continue developing his knowledge and meet the needs of its growing clientele. Over the years, he has acquired diverse experience in assurance, taxation, and consulting services. He works with a diverse clientele, particularly in the construction, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors.
Through his business acumen and his great availability to his clients, he supports them strategically whether for certification, purchase/sale, financing, tax planning mandates as well as for the transition to cloud accounting and the implementation of accounting solutions.
