Notice of Appointment – Three New Partners
February 6, 2025 – The management of FBL S.E.N.C.R.L. is proud to announce the appointment of Michèle Poudrier, Nicolas Gauvin, and Kevin Yergeau as partners in recognition of their outstanding contributions to our Drummondville office.
Michèle Poudrier, CPA, Auditor, MBA
An employee of the firm since the very beginning of her career, Michèle joined FBL in 2007 as an accounting and management intern during the busy personal tax season. After receiving the Governor General’s Medal at the end of her college studies, she continued her education at the University of Québec in Trois-Rivières, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with honours and an MBA with distinction. She obtained her professional designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2012, after ranking first in Quebec on the 2011 Uniform Final Examination.
Since then, she has maintained the same rigor in her work, always putting clients at the centre of her analyses and striving for excellence. Passionate about accounting and taxation, she has shown great versatility throughout her career, working with municipalities, daycares, individuals, and SMEs in various sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and services, to name a few. Now specializing more in SMEs, she supports entrepreneurs in facing their accounting and tax challenges.
Nicolas Gauvin, CPA, M. Tax
Nicolas joined FBL in September 2011 as an intern and pursued further studies specializing in taxation and accounting, earning a Master’s degree in Taxation and the CPA designation. He quickly demonstrated his expertise in taxation, becoming an essential member of the team. Nicolas continues to refine his skills to provide innovative and tailored solutions for his clients.
Known for his attentive listening and passion for advisory services, he helps clients optimize their tax situations through various tax reorganizations and participates in business purchase, sale, and merger transactions, family transfers, as well as often-overlooked tax credit applications, while also providing assurance services for the preparation of clients’ financial statements. His commitment to the Drummondville and Granby region communities also reflects his dedication beyond his professional responsibilities at FBL.
Kevin Yergeau, B.A.A., In-Depth Tax Course
Kevin joined FBL in 2013 as an accounting intern and quickly stood out due to his exceptional commitment and ability to successfully tackle challenges. A few years later, driven by his desire to further develop his expertise, he specialized in taxation by completing the prestigious In-Depth Tax Course offered by the CPA Order. This advanced training now enables him to provide customized solutions to his clients’ tax issues with sharp expertise.
Proactive and well-connected, Kevin distinguishes himself by his natural interpersonal skills, allowing him not only to identify new business opportunities but also to build lasting partnerships. His attentive listening and adaptability strengthen client loyalty while attracting new prospects. With his results-oriented approach and contagious energy, Kevin is a key player in FBL’s growth and development.
